Equipping Congregations in Abuse Awareness, Prevention and Response

All churches in Classis Chatham are strongly encouraged to participate in education, prevention and response to allegations of abuse. Classis Chatham Safe Church Team consists of representatives from each of the individual SAFE Church teams within the Classis.

We meet twice per year (May and November) to provide support to local churches as together we strive to implement policies, raise awareness of abuse, and provide a safe space for everyone entering our church.
